Swimwear for watch lovers, Since 2015 It started over a watch, on a winter afternoon in La Barceloneta. It became a way to dress for everything around it.
Origin sketch, La Barceloneta, 2015 One winter afternoon in the seaside neighborhood of La Barceloneta, where the city ends and the Mediterranean begins, three of us were doing what we always did. Talking about watches.
The dial of a vintage Patek. The case of a Submariner that had passed through three pairs of hands. The way a leather strap softens after a year of summers.
What started as another long conversation ended with a question we hadn't heard before. Why is there nothing for us to wear that fits all of this?
So we made it. Leopine was born that winter, in 2015, a spin-off of the watch world we already lived in. We set out to dress the people who already had the watch, and, as far as we can tell, we were the first to try.
Anyone who has spent time in this world knows that watchmaking is much more than watches. It is the conversation that surrounds them. The afternoon that became an evening. The bottle that came out when the dial was passed across the table.
Watch lovers share something quieter than a hobby. A way of moving through a day that prizes quality over noise, the deliberate pace of a Habano on a balcony, the long lunch that turns into dinner, the trip booked because someone mentioned a city in passing.
Gastronomy. Travel. The objects worth keeping. And the conversations worth having around them.
Leopine is built for those moments. The pieces are quiet, so the watch, the wine, and the company can do the talking.
Why is there nothing for us to wear that fits all of this?
Leopine is the work of three friends. Alfredo, who spent his days on the floor of a serious watch dealer in Spain. Denise, a designer who had a Swatch collection before she had a driver's license. And Yen, who caught it from a grandfather and never shook it. Fashion, business, and tech, all pointed at the same obsession.
We came up through the hobby, and we stay a little sarcastic about its sillier corners. The non-existent waiting lists. The allocation games. The dealers who decide whether you are worthy. Leopine is our reply, in the brightest colours we could print.
The early pieces found their people fast. The Gentalovers were the first to sell out. The Tutti Frutty became a blockbuster we still hear about. Our prints turn crabs and lobsters into dials, racing chronos into summer. Watchmaking, off the wrist.
The purpose has not changed since the first piece was cut. To walk with you through the moments, and make this less of a hobby and more of a way of living.
Crabs and lobsters become dials. Racing chronos become summer. A few of the prints that found their people, in the brightest colours we could print.

There are enough serious things already, don't you think?
The world of haute horlogerie is old. Beautiful, but old. We like giving it that fresh, modern touch where we can.
Horology, after all, is bigger than the people who like watches. There's a sense of belonging to a small, very particular group, one we are confirmed members of, and proud to dress.
So Leopine is not just a watch on a t-shirt. If a piece bears our name, it is because it ticks a few boxes that matter to us. It should be arty. It should be elegant. It should be well-crafted, by hands that know what they're doing.
And it must tell a story, because every good piece is the beginning of a conversation.
